Institutional repositories (IR) have become an important source of primary information for researchers and is popularly used in many countries. IR allows management and dissemination of digital materials created by the institution and its members. Setup of IRs especially in universities and colleges is imperative for the long-term preservation, as well as organization, access and distribution of institutional digital materials.
